I've dabbled in both Erlang and Elixir. However, betting on either of them in our company would be quite risky, with no one here having real experience with a functional language. That's why we chose Go. While not the greatest language on earth, using it has turned out to be a blessing in our team (statically typed, super easy to learn, easy deployment, fast compile times). That said, I really want to try Erlang on a real project.
