I used to hire cars fairly often so got used to all the modern conveniences. Now I don't do much mileage so bought a ten year old car and it is surprising how easy one can manage without all those expensive extras. My old car now still has lots of features I will never use.

Blind spot assist means that people don't physically check their blind spots, reversing cameras make people rely on the screen half way down the dash instead of turning their head to check their surroundings, etc etc. I do find them nice as well, but overall I've noticed drivers getting worse for having them.
