The New Thermodynamic Understanding of Clocks
- daxfohl 5y agoSurprised this didn't get more comments. It seems like an interesting direction to explore in terms of Einstein's "no experiment can differentiate between gravity and acceleration". If clocks are inherently noisy and presumably spaghettification inside a black hole would increase noise, then maybe that helps resolve some singularity problems. Rather than a singularity prior to which all is normal, there's just a gradual general degradation of reality until nothing makes sense anymore. Closer to the dying process, perhaps, than sudden annihilation.
