Linux is fine from a technical perspective, running servers and managing processes and data. I've used it frequently since the 90s. When I last used an IDE in Linux 10+ years ago it wasn't a great experience. 99% of end users in a business environment are on windows 10, so it makes sense that I am too. The others on Apple I'd guess, not Linux.
