How the US created a world of endless war
- BoHerfIIIJrEsq 5y agoIt's hard for me to separate the message from the messenger here. I've always been against the endless illegal (not authorized by Congress) wars, but they continued whether we elected a Democrat or a Republican. Finally we elected somebody who wasn't really either one of those, and progress on the endless war front began, but of course that president didn't have the Guardian's support. On the contrary, the Guardian bashed him at every possible opportunity. Now we have another swamp creature at the helm. "The adults are back in the room." "The US is back." Yes, IIRC it took about a month before the US resumed bombings in the middle east. Of course I'm still against it, but it sure would be great to hear from some other organization than the Guardian about how bad it is.

The Guardian, like most of the Western media had decided that, because Obama was black and therefore "oppressed" he was the Messiah, before he even set foot in office. Instead he turned out to be "just a very naughty boy", like most other US presidents, before and since.
