if you replace the technologies with tech-du-jour it's pretty much the same thing - kubernetes solving all of your deployment and system managment needs (except for, you know, managing or understanding kubernetes itself), json or yaml being the be-all-end-all for data formats (until you need comments, etc), 'cloud native', 'serverless', etc. these are all tools not solutions but people keep pretending the tools are the solution. That's the 'astronaut' part - off in space and not grounded to actual user requirements.
