Are there any examples of companies that hire for "diversity alone"? My understanding is that is not usually the case. Putting aside the fact that most occupations are not life or death (like in law enforcement)...A trend we see in one sex (especially men, I'm a man), 0 diversity organizations with power is tremendous abuse and/or corruption. Would the church have dealt with its child abuse problem much earlier if ~50% of the staff at every level were women? Perhaps an interesting exercise would be to name some historically all male businesses, organizations or institutions that haven't run into these issues or scandals... Can you name any? I don't believe 100% female orgs are immune. There seems to be an unofficial checks and balances system that is introduced when diversity is part of the picture.
