- rektide 5y agothe best version of me has definitely absolutely created a wing-in-ground / wing-in-sea effect flying boat. mines more a personal craft, & can transform somehow between efficient sleek transmit mode (3~5 people packed in like sardines), and casual party boat mode.

- mojomark 5y agoJust because it's been "tried" before doesn't mean the concept is invalid now. The underlying physics of wing in ground effect remain unchanged, but our technology has advanced. We now have new missions, new engines and fuels, new advanced control software, etc., that make these concepts potentially more cost-beneficial.
