Godot was named after "Waiting for Godot" to start with! The word "Godot" doesn't mean anything else.
- wyldfire 5y agoBut readers like WillDaSilva may not have heard of the play but have heard of the game engine, and might instead assume that the title refers to "waiting for Godot [...to be mature/ready for developer attention]".
