Private news sources being bullied, major news syndications toeing government lines, online censorship of critical articles, paid bots on several discussion forums throwing slurs/abuses/sowing doubts, cult of personality worship among hardline followers who take offense at the drop of hat. This isn't the India I knew a decade ago.
