For IP, you can get a domain adress from namecheap then set up dynamic DNS (https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/583/11/how-do-i-configure-ddclient/ https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx...). Maintenance/security.. log in from time to time and run 'apt update && apt upgrade' ?
- gsreenivas 5y agoresidential IP addresses are generally blacklisted by email services
- slenk 5y agoyeah but so are AWS ips
- gsreenivas 5y agowe have blocks of AWS IPs with no issues and we also have our own IP blocks
- teitoklien 5y agoIve been using aws ip’s to send emails all the time Never had one flagged because of ip reputation. Both using ses and directly sending emails via a aws vps
- slenk 5y agoWow. That honestly surprises me. I had been using Linode for my mail servers because of better IP rep
