  It seems to be coming out of Australian National University, which is a real place. Although I had never heard of it and it sounded a bit fake to my American ear, they seem to have alumni like Kevin Rudd and Kim Beazley, whose names seem vaguely familiar. So it appears to be both real and the leading university in Australia, even if the prospects of the research could be exaggerated in the reporting or press releases.

      I'm aware, but standard major university press release exaggeration is different from penny stock pump and dump or whatever.
