Hundreds of bars and restaurants are packed literally everyday all over NYC with unmasked patrons and that's been happening for months now. And while kid are mostly unvaccinated, they don't tend to be in restaurants much these days. Among adults, something like 80% are now vaccinated in NYC (71-86% depending on borough). Combine that with the fact that Delta makes up almost every case of COVID in NY now, it's hard to see who is even left for the virus to infect.
