Ask HN: Is there a iOS game for kids without ads?

• TomStratton 5y ago
Have you looked into Apple Arcade? None of those games have ads.

My kids seem to love what they call "sasquatch". I think this is probably it : https://apps.apple.com/us/story/id1535416135 https://apps.apple.com/us/story/id1535416135

Sneaky Sasquatch is a good game, it is really deeper older kids/adults, but for younger kids its easily playable.

This might turn some up: https://nobsgames.stavros.io/ https://nobsgames.stavros.io/ I’ve purchased a few from that list and they were indeed no-BS games.

At it's core, it's a randomly-generated tactical puzzle game reminiscent of Breach and Clear, and it lets you choose how long you'd like to play for (with settings ranging from elevator trip to DMV visit) which is a much appreciated touch. Don't know who made it, but my heart goes out to you for making a mobile game that doesn't completely suck.

The BBC has a channel and 'brand' called 'CBeebies'. This is for young kids aged up to 7 years. They have free iOS and Android games with no in-purchases or ads: CBeebies Free Apps for Kids: https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/grownups/article-cbeebies-apps https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/grownups/article-cbeebies-app...
