The military is the biggest social welfare program. For some reason most of my fellow conservatives aren't willing to admit this. The democrats do but then want to extend the program to everyone, even those not in the military. In reality, none of this is necessary. America can use a smaller military and then use the draft and calling up the national guard when necessary.
