New Orleans is almost below sea level. I'm not sure how much good all the preparation would do even if it did get done.
- selectodude 5y agoMost of New Orleans is literally below sea level.
- egypturnash 5y agoAin't no "almost" about it, most of the city's like 5' below. It's still been there for more than 300 years. The effort put into levees and pumps has been heroic.
