The worst managers I have worked with were ex-military. They had no clue how to deal with highly skilled knowledge workers. They were probably fine leading grunts but the skills doesn’t transfer.
- bdavis__ 5y agoabsolute best managers i have worked with were ex-military. in general, academy grads are all very good. also well connected across society. a lot of difference between a 10 year Staff Sgt and a flag officer.
