Joe Rogan was a UFC interviewer & commentator, Fear Factor host, and comedian. Not exactly an unaccomplished stoner. All his jobs were great experience in interviewing people. Everything you said is subjective. I don't really like him as a person, but our personalities are different. His interviews and podcasts are interesting because he lets the guest talk, unlike many other hosts. All in all I don't agree with your assessment. I'm sure they people you listed are nice, but you could apply your same shallow subjective critiques to them as well.
