Same, cable select was not worth messing with as it so rarely worked. Just set master/slave and be done with it. I agree with the other poster also that said CD

Same, cable select was not worth messing with as it so rarely worked. Just set master/slave and be done with it. I agree with the other poster also that said CDROMS were the worst full stop.
