The conversation is exhausting because everyone wants to dance around this claim rather than simply addressing it directly. From my end it feels like pulling teeth. I don't see evidence of the statement. I don't see evidence that the the statement is applied inconsistently. I don't see evidence of moderates being targeted with bans. I don't even see evidence that bans are politically motivated in the first place. I've seen this complaint a lot, but it never gets substantiated. It's just thrown out there like we should all automatically agree with it. Well I don't automatically agree. Please forgive my single-mindedness on this topic, but I'd like to see something substantiating the claim being made. Once we can agree whether this is happening, then maybe I'd be willing to move to a different conversation (like voting).
