- jdoss 5y agoGive Fedora Linux a try. It has been my daily workstation professionally and personally since 2007ish. Fedora 34 is pretty fantastic for hitting the ground running after you install.
- blacksmith_tb 5y ago'Top' could mean 'most popular' or 'I think this one is best'. I tend to just use stock Ubuntu (which with Fedora vies for the first of those senses), though some distros that are based on it like POP!_OS and Elementary are kind of appealing.
- seph-reed 5y agoI highly, highly recommend Elementary OS. https://elementary.io/ https://elementary.io/ It's the only OS I know of that's remotely close to MacOS in terms of aesthetic, and with Proton I can play pretty much every game on Steam.
- bakoo 5y agoI prefer Mint Cinnamon, which feels like a better looking and more polished Ubuntu with saner defaults.
- juniperplant 5y agoEither Ubuntu (Canonical) or Fedora (Red Hat).
