That is mostly already the case, you can invoke the extractors through the Python API or through the CLI and do the download yourself.
Extractors regularly require custom logic, so they can’t be described in anything else than a programming language.
- polote 5y agoBeing two different projects has advantages, especially when one part (need to) moves much faster. The fact that some requires custom logic doesn't prove that you need a programming language, it is just custom logic compared to the standard framework.
- colejohnson66 5y agoIf you’re implementing custom logic, why not just make it easy on yourself and use a proper programming language. Trying to invent custom logic systems gives us cmake.
