A vaccine is an excellent way to prevent an infectious disease. Borelliosis is an infectious disease. Infectious diseases cause human suffering. Vaccinating against as many infectious diseases as possible will reduce a great deal of human suffering. I guess the real question is why would you not want to reduce human suffering?
