I wonder - with all the limitations being imposed on IFRAMEs, what do people do when they have a product that needs to integrate UI with other peoples websites?

  They use an iFrame, with the correct headers to enable what they need. If the site isn't trying to do something nefarious it'll work perfectly well.

  Put some JS on the host and use postMessage()
