I would call that a blessing in disguise. From my experience the alternative is indeed worse. It’s much better that your pressure valve opens at a lower pressure and forces you to take some time to care for yourself. Rather than letting the pressure build until you break and then not much can be done but wait for the slow process of healing to rebuild you.
