I'd also be interested in some detail of the recycling operation. Are components reused when possible, and if so, under what selection criteria? If instead they are recycled for base materials, what processes are used for extraction and waste disposal? If all I'm doing is exporting the problem to a corrupted country with lax environmenmtal laws, then it's not helping at all.
