Question: Where can I find these companies that heavily bias towards hiring young people / new grads? I'm 23 with 1.5 YOE and so far my experience has been the opposite: Startups and companies I want to work for only have open positions for seniors and seem to mostly discard my applications, despite the fact that I've been programming in my free time for practically a decade now and consider myself a strong developer. At this point I've honestly just given up and decided to work for crappy companies for a few years until I have the resume to get a job that I actually want.
