Currently M1 Macs only support two displays, hacks aside. Upcoming models targeted at power users will almost certainly support three or four.

Currently M1 Macs only support two displays, hacks aside. Upcoming models targeted at power users will almost certainly support three or four.
- Hamuko 5y agoWith the important caveat that the internal display always counts towards that two-display limit, regardless whether it's actually in use. So you can only add one external monitor to any M1 Mac that isn't the monitorless M1 Mac Mini.
