Well said. There are probably tens of millions of people and ten thousand MIT graduates who love and study physics more because of Walter Lewin. Does that justify the ways that he was abusive or morally ambiguous? Hell no! Despite the controversy and very public cancellation of Prof. Lewin, his lectures are my top recommendation for studying introductory physics.
