This makes me feel a bit better about leaving my laptop plugged in all the time (docked). I know Apple revised the iPad power delivery to account for always-connected power quite a while ago because folks were starting to use them as always on home dashboards, but it seems that has finally caught up to computers as well. Historically, the negative has been the influence on the battery physically. Only time will tell if newer machines will fare better than MacBooks of old with bloated batteries attempting to break free from their aluminum shell. This is a good first sign of things to come though!
