Cargo bicycle and cook at home?

  A smarter proposition would be to petition for the increase in the speed and quality of public transportation. Many people would be happy to utilize that if it were a viable option for them, but for most cities it is simply not a strong enough or reliable enough replacement for transportation.

    Increasing the speed and quality of public transportation would quickly see diminishing returns, and significantly eat into their climate advantage.

      Its easy to sit on a moral high horse but it doesn't help things. If you do not show a path from where people are now to where you want them to be, then you only have yourself to blame for no one making it there. Telling people who commute 45 miles to work (because they're priced out of any home or apartment closer to their job) that they should bicycle to work to help save the planet is futile. Petitioning for an improvement in public transportation that could help take cars off of the road and increase availability of transportation for everyone is a step in the right direction.
