Second month of my standing experiment and I love it. Right now it's a temporary setup so I have my keyboard and mouse on a desk pad on top of a plastic file drawer for height. A gel standing mat for comfort. But when I get the chance I'll upgrade to a more permanent solution.
Here's my dream setup:

- nfm 15y agoDo you wear shoes while standing on the gel mat?
- tortilla 15y agoBarefoot, since I work at home.
- jmaygarden 15y agoI've been standing at work for several months and prefer to be barefoot as well even without a gel mat.
- mjdwitt 15y agoHow many hours do you typically spend standing per day?
- tortilla 15y agoTypically about 60-70% of the time standing. I try to stretch every hour or so. I also shift my standing position quite a bit, from a wide stance to a normal stance. When I'm thinking or watching a video, I march in place. Whether standing or sitting, I try to not be any one position for more than an hour at a time.
