I would appreciate if the title said it's for js (and not rust)
- ImprobableTruth 5y agoWhat do you mean? It's about writing a node-js like event loop in rust. Calling it "for js" seems highly misleading.
- reificator 5y agoWhy? Would you not prefer an accurate title over a misconception? The book’s title is “The Node Experiment - Exploring Async Basics with Rust”. The reference to Node is that the book reimplements a similar system to Node’s event loop, but using Rust, to learn more about Rust’s async support. Node is chosen as a well known async model for this generation’s developers.
