Perhaps him using his platform for ads is a valid criticism, but nearly every Youtuber makes their living at least in part doing sponsor videos/segments, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. For what it's worth, I enjoyed the video. However I'm bullish on Waymo's approach to self driving, so I wouldn't feel it as much if the video is too positive.
