I can confirm experiencing this issue, at some point suddenly my iPad iCloud backups were enabled even though i’ve always had it switched off (for many years), since iCloud backups are not e2e encrypted and Apple can “see” all data…
- webmobdev 5y agoI had posted about something similar too on HN - Apple OS updates sometimes change your System Preferences without any warning ( https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26418809 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26418809 ). This is done deliberately.
