- challengly 5y agoThat reminds me of when I told my 10yo daughter about RGB's passing. She had tears in her eyes. And then she did the Wakanda pose and said “Ruthkanda forever”.
- labster 5y agoI remember when my fourth grade teacher, newly moved in from Georgia, decided to put on a class play of Gone with the Wind. I’m so grateful I annoyed her enough to earn a suspension from school for the remainder of the year, because it was long enough to miss the play. That class was just a lost cause.
- watwut 5y agoWhat did happened during that class? What you said?
- a3n 5y ago> That class was just a lost cause. Nice use of social recursion. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Cause_of_the_Confederacy https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Cause_of_the_Confederac...
- labster 5y agoThanks for explaining the joke /s, but the explanation will probably be valuable to people. All that really happened — it’s not just a joke. The incident which caused me to be suspended involved getting chased around backstage by a friend with a fire extinguisher. Which, ironically, is one thing that would have helped Atlanta.
