A society/political system, which doesn't prioritize the individual's freedom, but focuses on economic development and exercises multi-year planning, doesn't have to respect any opposing groups like anti-vaxxers, covid-deniers, etc. but has all the reasons to implement such draconian measures to ensure low case numbers.
