My bank uses 2FA in which they send a pin to my email on login (I know it's not the most secure thing, but it is what is being used). Though if I lost access to my email, I can go to my bank branch with identification to get it changed in 2-3 business days - during which time I won't have access to a number of online banking services. Steam also has the same system.
