ISA-95 and IIoT
- officialchicken 5y agoIf you are interested in something like like this, the originators of Industry 4.0 (the German government in 2011) [0] has backed a number of actually free/open technologies from low-level EtherCAT protocol [1] to higher level OPC (Open Platform Connector) [2] for defining high level process interactions, and soon there will be open standards for digital twins. [3] But this advertorial is just another expensive ISO "standards document" to purchase, extending another proprietary technology (S-95), as evidenced by the lack of hyperlinks to documents or repos. If you want to purchase the two new chapters, it will cost you $705.16 [4,5] - there's no bundle price for all of the chapters.
