I think you're obviously right, but you're also being overly pessimistic and short-sighted. Diagnosis and maintenance efficiency on BEVs will surely improve as the segment matures.

Also, it’s not pessimism. It’s just the reality. Automotive engineering has never been sloppier. It’s also never been less complex. It’s ALSO only getting more complex with EV. Be upset about that all you like, but it’s how it is. So my original point is that anyone who says EVs are less complex is completely dealing with fantasy.
