Ask HN: Shared Hosting Recommendations

I'm looking for an old school reliable, low cost, shared hosting provider for simple projects and websites. (with WordPress supporting, ie LAMP, LEMP) There's so many companies out there, and I have my own biases and experiences with many of them... I'm wondering what the crowd here recommends. No, I'm not looking for a $5 VPS, I don't want to bother with managing and maintaining a server, I'd rather just have a turnkey solution where I can set up domains or subdomains as needed without having to maintain a server myself.

I've been hosting with Cooini (formerly U2-Web) for 11 years. I run a few sites through them currently (nothing too heavy anymore. One was a web crawler project that could get pretty intense, though I've had no real issues with it when it was at its peak). Cooini have been updating some of their services and offerings, though the old ones are still in place as well. For example, they added the Plesk control panel, but also still have cPanel if you want a really old school feel. Not that I've needed to contact them very often, but I remember posting tickets late at night only to see them resolved within a couple of hours.   Thanks, I'll check them out. Do you know if the plans are for unlimited domains per account or a single domain?

    I don't think there's a limit on the number of domains that you can have on a single account. That will only start to matter if they start expending their computing resources. I currently run four domains out of my account

    I started using them since they where the cheapest I could find that had free TLS. Been using them for ~3 years for a small Wordpress site. It has worked fine so far.
