I can't say what's the best business strategy for auto makers but I feel like getting a strong foothold of the electric market early on could prove to be a good long term plan. And a lot of people, including me, are seriously considering an electric for their next car. My boss just got an electric. To me it seems like now would be a good time to have good products on the market. I'm looking at the Honda e but for its range & price, it looks more like a .. prototype/halo car than a real product for the consumer market.
