I got a rabies shot in rural Cambodia when I almost certainly didn't need it just in case, and it was so cheap I can't even remember how much it was, well below a hundred bucks. This particular point blew my mind, I didn't realise the US was getting screwed quite that hard when it came to healthcare costs.
