I believe is using the tech and apps for remembering what I read. I recently started using Readwise app for getting all my important sections from different books into daily dose of reminders. It works well. I also use Notion for auto syncing of book highlights. I don't think it's fair to eliminate technology from reading. Use it for your advantage.
