- NoPie 5y agoIt is not comparable at all. In this example NAC was given intravenously, at very high doses to treat paracetamol overdose which is deadly. It is unlikely that such high concentrations could be absorbed from oral intake. You can kill a person by giving too much i.v. saline as well. It happens in hospitals too but it is not a reason to ban sale of salt.
