We've been told that come October, we're going to be doing "flex-work", i.e. you can basically work remote as long as your boss says that's ok. I had my doubts about this long before delta became a thing, mainly because October is the start of cold & flu season. I wouldn't be surprised if this pushed that timeline out by a few more months.
