In business school lingo, this is called 'coopetition' which is just a portmanteau of the two positions: cooperation & competition.
- eloff 5y agoI can't tell if this is sarcasm or serious, so I looked it up. It's for real.
- rainbowzootsuit 5y agoI'm not sure that they invented the term but it was, and probably still is, prominent in the F.I.R.S.T. robotics competition. At least in that context, as a mentor, I thought it was a decent message for the students. - throwawaylinux 5y agoI think what the government calls it depends greatly on "donations" and promises of do-nothing "consulting" positions with outlandish salaries.
- agumonkey 5y agofirst time I read this but I'm not even surprised the term exists .. it's probably a natural and very old phenomenon right ?
