H.P. Lovecraft Writes Olive Gardens Dinner Menu
- linksnapzz 5y agoThis is of course a lie and a slander; as a Providence native HPL would never be caught (un)dead inside an Olive Garden. Were he to want the food of swarthy italians, he'd go to Cafe Massimo, or Andino's or Camille's on Federal Hill. Come to think of it...he actually could have eaten at Camille's; although I doubt it.
- wrp 5y agoThis is great. I've often considered how to apply Lovecraftian purple prose to the mundane. It would also be interesting to see it going the other direction, recasting horror stories as emotionless technical reportage.
