Time to boot my laptop and open browser: 5-10 seconds Time to load and login to slack: 120-180 seconds with about 7 clicks ... sometimes I even have to wait a while for it to catch up with my typing like i'm superman or something. At which point I usually revert to copy and pasting messages from VIM... that's how slow slack is on a 2 year old laptop.
