To clarify, I just recently started making over $50k, which means I have to start making payments for 24 months which will total to the max of $30k. My point is that, the only reason I got this job is from having actual work experience and personal projects from the past two years. The tech industry changes fast; 2 years is a life time. I'm not saying I didn't learn anything there. I'm just saying $30k is pretty steep for a rudimentary understanding of Javascript/Node and and a framework I wouldn't even recognize today.
